Saratoga beach is one of the most beautiful and safest sandy beaches in B.C. There are salmon bearing rivers a short stroll to the north & south. The tide goes out over a ¼ mile, creating a firmly packed oceanfront playground that is perfect for kids to explore and burn off their tremendous energy. The gentle sloping beach continues for well over a mile under the ocean for safe swimming and freedom from powerboat traffic. Located 1km off Highway 19, just north of Miracle Beach Provincial Park and south of the Oyster River, follow the Resort Area Signs.
We have a great resort, suitable for the whole family, or a quiet getaway to the ocean for two. We are centrally located on a beautiful hard packed sandy beach on the east coast of Vancouver Island, between Courtenay/Comox and Campbell River the Salmon Capital of the World.
Within a short walk of the resort you will find a grocery store, pub, restaurants, golf course, driving range, marina with boat charters & excursions, 2 salmon spawning rivers, trout and ocean fishing, mini golf, car racing at Saratoga Speedway which also offer go cart rentals, and a provincial park complete with a nature centre. Kayak & windsurfer rentals, coin laundry, and propane barbecues are available on site.
